A granulator is a molding machine that can manufacture materials into specific shapes. Widely used in chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, food, building materials, mining, environmental protection, printing and dyeing, ceramics, rubber, plastics and other fields. According to its structure and working principle, it can be further divided into rotary belt condensing granulators, flat twin screw extruders, drum drying and slicing machines, roller dry cutting machines (referred to as roller cutting machines), tooth cutting machines, and disc vacuum condensing granulators.
The pelletizer is widely used in the chemical industry for various materials with a melting point (softening point) within 300 ℃ that require condensation and pelletizing. For example: sulfur, paraffin, rosin, asphalt, maleic anhydride, stearic acid, maleic anhydride; Phenolic resin, petroleum resin, modified resin and other resin products; Products such as hot melt adhesives, synthetic soap, urea, additives, rubber and plastic additives.
However, we need to pay attention to the usage details of the pelletizer. Below, our company will introduce a few points for everyone:
1. After turning on the switch, it is necessary to preheat for a period of time before turning on the lubricating oil pump and other switches.
2. If the host is running normally, materials can be added. When filling, the operator must keep an eye on it, and there should be no impurities in the material. At the same time, the temperature should be controlled properly.
3. If the phenomenon of sticking to the mold head occurs when the double screw granulator is turned on, it is due to the mold head temperature being too high. It can be normal after a little cooling, and generally there is no need to stop the machine.
4. The water temperature should be controlled between 50-60 ℃. If the water temperature is too low, it is easy to break, and if it is too high, it is easy to bond. It is best to add half of the hot water when starting the machine. After the water temperature exceeds 60 ℃, circulating water should be added inward to avoid excessive temperature. Circulating water should use softened water or distilled water.
5. During the operation of the machine, it is prohibited to use metal objects to clean materials at the opening of the cylinder.
6. When cutting, it is necessary to evenly pull the strips before entering the mixing roller, otherwise it will damage the cutting machine. If there is excessive material leakage from the exhaust hole, it indicates that impurities have blocked the filter screen. At this time, it is necessary to quickly stop the machine and replace the mesh. The mesh can be selected as 40-60 mesh.
7. The heating temperature depends on the softening point and melting temperature of the resin, and the higher the melting point, the higher the heating temperature required. The temperature requirement is about 5 degrees Celsius above the melting point.
